Bioluminescence (2018) for solo flute
Regarding multiphonics, there are many variants of fingerings and approaches used by the approx. 20 flautists who have played this piece. As you well know, this is a fuzzy technical area; multiphonics almost always have varying onset times, some resulting in more arpeggiation or pitch variation than others; they generally do not consistently sound as chords. Therefore a poetic approach that reflects your considered aesthetic and musical priorities will be acceptable.
Some errors in rhythmic notation are corrected as follows:
Bar 13, last group of 12, note that the last note is a semiquaver inside the 12
Bar 21, 1st beat, note that the grouping is 10 notes (rather than 11)
